Get ready for Paris Fashion Week

Get ready for Paris Fashion Week

Paris in the early autumn is one of the most exciting places in the world, and it’s a terrific time to book a stay at Hotel Royal Cardinal. There are so many wonderful events in the city, and Paris Fashion Week is certainly among the most popular. From Tuesday September 23rd to Wednesday October 1st, fashion fans from all over the world descend on our fair city for the Ready to Wear collections.

The new Ready to Wear collections

Ready to Wear is a real favourite with everyone at Royal Cardinal. These collections are perhaps the most accessible, and of course it’s great to know what’s going to be hot on the high street next season as everyone clamours to copy the most fabulous styles. Haute Couture may be gorgeous, but for many of us it is impractical not to mention expensive! Paris Fashion Week Ready to Wear shows are fun, and take place in a range of stunning venues all over the city. Go along to see your favourites and take the opportunity to create your ‘wish list’ for next spring and summer.

Chanel, Dior, Givenchy and Louis Vuitton are among the many famous houses showing their Spring/Summer 2015 lines. Perhaps you love the gorgeous cashmere from Lucien Pellat Finet, or maybe Sonia Rykiel and Agnes B appeal to you. From British designers like Stella McCartney and Gareth Pugh to Japanese icons Issey Miyake and Yohji Yamamoto, everyone will be at Paris Fashion Week. Make sure that you are there too, and book a stay at Royal Cardinal where you’ll be just minutes from the shows by taxi or metro.

Paris Fashion Week continually thrills us with dramatic new concepts, so it’s fitting that it takes place just as the Autumn Paris Festival is getting started. Catch an exciting music or theatre event as a spectacular complement to your favourite shows.

Explore new concepts at Autumn Paris Festival

From 4th September till 31st December, the Autumn Paris Festival is your chance to explore new ideas in theatre, music, visual arts and dance.  Festival d’Autumne presents events in a range of superb venues, and this year will feature the work of William Forsythe, Romeo Castellucci and Luigi Nono as portrayed by talented avant garde artists from all over the globe.
